Yes, I know the front is very messy, just haven't had the time to organize and mount the last few items. I've also got prolockers for each mower, just got to get the time to mount them.

You did THAT well last year or are you hoping to do better this year with the new equipment? Looks nice though...both sets!

That Chevy 2500HD is beautiful! and thats coming from a guy that drives a Ford F-350.
Those clips holding and the hand tools look like they work well. Looking good all around.

Thanks for the compliments guys!!
I did pretty well last year, especially being my first year. My truck was a little undersized for the area I'm in, and I knew I would be getting a bigger trailer. I was sitting pretty in the Toyota and had some money to put down on the Chevy. My payment actually went down (only $8/month) for the new truck.
As far as the trailer, the 5x10 was getting really small. I got a good deal on the Lesco WB during the off season, and there was no way to take both mowers with the 5x10. I sold my bassboat and used that money to buy the trailer.
The clips holding the tools are a little light duty. I wish I had sprung for the better clips, but they'll do for now. I also use a long HD bungee to keep them in place. The best part is that it keeps everything neat and easy to grab just one tool without digging through a pile.
I hope to get the V-nose area cleaned up and the pro-lockers mounted soon.
Thanks again.

How do you like your km110r? Does the edger work well? Do you like the longer reach hedge trimmer? I have the shorter length shaft one. It seems long enough for small trimming jobs.

Hey there. How do you like the Enclosed trailer compared to the Open?
I am still thinking about a bigger 6x12 enclosed. I have a 5x10 now.
I'm between the Open and Enclosed. If I went open, I'd have one custom built, dual axle with front and rear gate.

The 110 definitely has the power. The 4mix was hard to get used to. It sounded as though it was not revving up like it should. After getting used to it, it's nice not to be so loud. I've had some problems with the trigger assembly hanging up, but just try to keep it lubed.
The extended hedge trimmers are handy...but very heavy. They've saved me many times are larger shrubs.
The edger works very good. The power is very handy when edging properties that have not been edged in some time.
Overall, I like the 110. I bought it with the intention of getting a trimmer attachment when my 55 died. After being used to how light the 55 is, it'd be hard to start using the 110 for a trimmer. I wouldn't mind having the trimmer attachment as a back-up, but I'll buy another trimmer when the time comes. Plus, I don't like having to switch on every yard.

How do you like your FS-55?
I really like it. It has it's downfall, but overall it's been great. It doesn't quite have the guts for really thick/high stuff, it's got a very small gas tank, and it's starting to show it's age.
BUT, it's extremely light, it's nearly 6 years old, but only 2 years as commercial. We have a school account that includes ALOT of weedeating. This thing has definitely paid for itself. I bought it about 6 years ago at an ACE hardward that was having a public safety day. I think I got it brand new out the door for $150 or thereabouts.
I've had some rotten luck with my Redmax 7001, so I'm probably gonna go back with Stihl from now on.

Getting the enclosed is the best decision I've made. Like everyone here says...figure out what size you need and then buy bigger. My buddy has a 6x12 v-nose and carries about the same as me. You can't even think in there it's so packed. I would really like a wider trailer, but pulling it in some of my areas would be tricky.
There are things about the open trailer I miss like being able to just walk up and grab something and go. But, having things secure and out of the weather 24/7 is very nice.
If I had to do it again, I'd still buy one. It was very hard to swallow spending $6k that didn't have a motor...but it's been worth it. Looks more professional IMO and comments from customers have been along the same lines.

I called the place where I bought by Ferris from and I wanted to see if they had any of the Stihl's in stock and they said that they did but that he recommended the RedMax because it is a lot more durable. What do you think?

Nice setup, and real nice truck. I REALLY like the truck actually, and yeah I'm a Ford guy too lol. Especially the color.
Slightly off topic but do you find the Hustler a bit under-powered in some conditions with the 19HP engine?
