You lucky dog, awm. Here in Matthews we go zero, nada, none, not even a drop.
I came home today and it poured down just as I turned into my driveway. By the time I got to my garage it stopped. And my driveway is not that long.
I will take some pictures for this one. I can find plenty. It is dry around here.

Todd I still see some green left in there it still has some life left
You going to mow that tomorrow? hee hee
08-12-2001, 02:30 AM
I should have taken more pics in July,
The little bit of rain along with everybody finally cranking up their irrigation has brought them back some.
I have one in mind (won't be there till Thurs) but I have not mowed it since 7/5. The trees in there lawn have all turned brown and are dropping their leaves.
I have called them and told them they need to water but must be they are too busy.
I will take some more pics this week.

Well here is one of my Shreded Wheat lawns. I have cut the resolution down and the file ia about 70K. I think you will get the idea of our drought conditions. Thank God it started to rain on Saturday.
I figured it might as well show up here. :)

Great striping! Great view, too.

Those are my Hustler Hydro w/b stripes. God I love that machine!

You can come here there are plenty of burned lawns. But what can I say when it's 120 degrees at times and you can only water from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. There are good lawns here, but most of the problem is the sprinklering systems. Some of the people put in the cheapest they can get and it is bad.
08-14-2001, 12:38 AM
ok LGF here is one.
the green part on this side of the fire hydrant is actually a different business.
not too bad.
08-14-2001, 12:43 AM
This one has not been mowed since 7/1
The guy owns this lot but does not water it. His lawn is behind where I am standing and is nice and green.
08-14-2001, 02:14 AM
Now thats some Chit I mean dirt way to go Todd
08-14-2001, 06:14 PM
Welps, I finnaly rained here last night a whole .3 inches. first rain of the month. and thay predict rain thurs & fri. but that will prolly evap. before it reaches the ground. I wish I had a digitial cam. You guys would love the grass most of it is beyond brown. after last week I'm down to one lawn a week and 4 every other. 2 every 7-10 days. 6 once a month, 1 every other month. and others when I'm desprate for cash.
08-14-2001, 08:41 PM
Here is one we mowed today. It looks sad. :(
08-14-2001, 08:58 PM

08-15-2001, 12:57 AM
It was pretty dry here last year.
08-15-2001, 05:59 AM
I have a lawn worse worse off than Greenquestlawn But man does my Lesco make nice stripes on brown grass. I even worked in the checkerbord pattern. Eric thats about the greenest any of my lawns are except 2 that are heavaly waterd.
Its sad to see what some other LCO's have done. Still Cutting like this with Walkers. Lets just say thay sucked most of the brown out and its just dirt. Think I will get into Sod and Seed next spring. could make a killing.
08-15-2001, 10:44 AM

08-18-2001, 06:07 AM
Sorry I have not posted any pics yet. I don't know how to get them in the computer. I have to wait for Mrs. LGF to do so. They will be comming since it's getting drier here I'm getting more and more pics.
08-18-2001, 09:35 AM
That pic looks like the lawn I do, and they want it cut, and striped once a week, used to skip when it looked like that but they would call and I had to make a special trip to stripe it. This is what they want, and pay so who am I to question. plus I am done in no time!!!!!:D
08-21-2001, 10:58 PM

08-21-2001, 11:00 PM
