Well back in 93 I had several trimmers and blower stolen. It was financed, the insurance from the loan took care of most of it. Went and financed some more, got stolen the next day. I just paid for it, the insurance company would have never believed that one.

My trailer was stolen out of a secured lot 2 years ago. I've had plenty of stuff stolen, but those stand out.

Gas can 4 years ago.
Come-Along 4 years ago.

Another gas can last year.

Knock on wood, I haven't been "hit" worse than this.

I had my 24' enclosed trailer broke into and they took 2 T27's about 6 years old, a new Shindaiwa Chain saw, a 2 cycle cultivator, and a 2 cycle hedge trimmer, but left a lot of other good stuff. I guess something scared them off.

Nothing stolen here except when working for someone else I had my lunch bag with my cell phone init stolen from a Home Depot lot. Nothing from the trailer or truck. Including my workers cell that was next to my bag. Figured it was a bum who was hungry.

Alto I'm sure a LCO figures someone stole a 2.5 gal gas can from thier trailer. Was unloading one day and saw a brand new 2.5 can fly outta a unmarked trailer into my drive. So of cource I ran out and picked it up. Couldnt tell if it was mixed so I dumped it and replaced mine.

Had my car stolen from an Atlantic City hotel valet parking last weekend. Ruined my vacation and then they "could not lose revenue just because they LOST my car" and asked me to pay for my room from the night before.

Will tell you more details and the name of the hotel if they dont soon pony up some OPPS we screwed up money.

Chainsaw and toolbox out of the back of my truck. I think it was a former employee because he like both of those items. He left the Maruyama hedge trimmer laying in the truck. Either that or his hands were full. Did not even report it. Less than my deductable. Just replaced them.

stole a backpack blower, two handheld blowers, and an edger right off my trailer. sad thing is, if one of these people would have slipped coming off the trailer, they probably could have sued

Over the course of nine years, I have had a trailer, weedwacker, power pruner, and hedge trimmer stolen. Also had my motorcycle stolen about a month ago. Is sure a headache but that is what insurance is for. Just my two cents

2 Toro 21" mowers, 1 36" Toro walk behind, 1 Shindowa trimmer and stick edger out of my trailer while I was in the back with the other trimmer all 3 months old and financed. This caused me to loose my larger accounts and I went under. No insurance at the time was looking for some. Got it all paid off and this is my first year back into the profession starting from nothing.

A thief is one thing but a thief that would take away a persons means to make a living should be shot or hung (after ajudication, of course :D ). I have no use for those jerks and jerketts.

Exactly. It's not like stealing your TV. They steal your livelyhood. F'ers

I have had my truck, trailor, lawnmowers, trimmers, hand tools, my whole business taken from the front yard while I was blowing off the patio in the back. I had the police on the phone as the truck turned the corner at the end of the block. They have not found him, or any equipment yet. That was 4 yrs ago.

Kind of my fault, as I had a habit of leaving my keys on the floor. I still mow that yard but it takes me twice as long now, as I spend more time watching my truck. :)

you guys should put a hidden camera inyour back window. If something gets stolen it might turn out to be compitiion, a neighborhhod punk, or the homeowner. And if you find who did it take your crew over and pay him a "special visit" hehe

Wouldn't some of you in small towns be able to figure out, "Who Did It?";)
