The gpm/psi meter gives a very accurate approximation of performance.
We have two & depend on them..factory has been great for parts.
I did change-out the psi gauge to a glycerin-filled unit. Best use is off a
quick-couple with a hose swivel adapter....beats the bucket & stopwatch!

From my experience, the bucket test is far more accurate. old peole are lazy, a stopwatch and a bucket only take 1 min of your time for the most accurate reading of all, i dont trust a flow meter. thats my opinion though. id be weary mike leary.

I use flow meters...they are great....it helps when your on a "ON THE SITE" bid...

but the bucket>stop watch works fine too..
Anyone know how to make or has made their own flow gages?
