yeah you bundle it all in.

You could look at it either way

$50 hauling dump/dump insert/trailer
$100-140 mulch for say 5 yards
$200 labor for 5 yards to install, remove weeds

total for 5 yard job is $390 or $78 per yard

do your prices include edging??? they all seem low. besides how do you flat rrate mulch when each job is different. for example i've had 10 yd jobs that went quicker than 4 yd jobs because of the ease of edging, beds were easily accessible etc.

hmm.. we don't 'do' edging here. if there is no aluminum or vinyl edging already onsite, we install it at an additional charge

I don't charge a haul fee because it is usually no more than 15 min drive from the mulch supplier. I charge 55-65 per yard, depending if it is lots of hand work( working around small shrubs, plants) or just dump and spread. I do edge the beds, usually included in the price of the mulch. I feel that if I can name my price on a mulch job, doing the bed edging just makes it look that much more professional.

per yard how much would you guys charge to
edge, weed, rake out old debris, put down mulch, and cost of mulch, assuming the weeding is light( maintaining the area from about a year ago)

i don't do it like that, i charge by the hour (45 per man/hr), but guess a ballpark figure might be $100/yd give or take.... just a guess. hard to flat rate because it could be a 20' walk from the mulch on the truck or a 120' walk and if you think that difference isn't huge as far as time goes, time yourself at a regular pace over that distance and multiply by how many trips you make it adds up. also, edging a new bed as opposed to one you've edged for years is a huge diff as well.
