You don't want that piece of crap. If you have to get something from Lowe's get one of the Husqvarna's. That Troybilt will not last.

I would still get one of the Husqvarna's. Troybilt stuff is not built like it used to be.

Lowe's has a Husqvarna backpack blower for $200. It's actually the same one I use day to day. It's light and it starts within 2 pulls every time.

I kind of doubt that you would want to do any leaf clean-ups with it. I have a Walk Behind Blower for that though.

you have to remeber that i am not a professinal lookin for professinal equipment i just need a backpack blower for 200 dallors that can do my 1/2 acre lawn in fall for leaf clean up and in summer after i finish mowing to get rid of clippings and such. altho you recommedned the husqvarna blower at lowes it only blows 140 with like a 385 or so cfm and the troy-bilt blows 170 and 485 cfm.

Then get it. You are obviously hell-bent on it. Go buy it. I really don't care what you get. You asked for opinions, I gave mine, you don't like it, so you keep asking waiting for someone to say...yeah it's great. So go buy the damn thing and quit wasting bandwidth by posting a bunch of different threads on it.
BTW, there is a "homewoners forum" on this site for questions like yours. You should post there since this is the "Starting up" forum.

Troybuilts lack the quality that I expect, professional or homeowner. Sorry yet anther honest opinion.

I would go with this one first before a troy built. it's going to last you a much longer time. JMO:waving:

I doubt if anyone on this site will ever suggest Troy-Bilt equipment. I have some Troy-Bilt equipment, it's not used commercially, but it is used several times a week. It's only been about 3 months of usage but so far so good.

Here's my opinion. You did the research and found the blower with the best price for the CFM and MPH. If you're comfortable buying the Troy-Bilt then I would buy it. If you take care of it then problems should be minimal. Everyone likes to hop on and bash Troy-Bilt, MTD, etc...even when you tell them you're not going to use it commercially. It's just the way things are. Here's my question - do these people who so freely downtalk the lesser brands every buy them and use them, or do they just make assumptions that this company took over that company so now you shouldn't even bother with them.

Get the Troy-Bilt and be happy. If it turns out to be a piece of crap (which I don't think it will be) let us know, and if it works out good for your use then I'm glad.

I actually use 2 Troybilt 21" mowers. One I got for free. They are crap. The entire mower will torque and cause the blades to hit the deck.
I am trying to save this guy some money and hassle by telling him NOT to buy that piece of crap. You, on the other hand, Mr. $15 Trailer Park Mower Guy, that just recently upgraded from an electric trimmer, don't know what you are talking about.
To Original Poster, you don't have to listen to me, but definitely don't listen to this schmuck.
