I have an old 20 gallon sprayer I used to use for fertilizing. I am spraying the killex on my 1 acre equipment depot. If I use the concentrate bottle that covers 400sq m, how much should I use in a 20 gallon container?

Thanks in advance.

A hectare equals 2.47 acres--just go from there.

And by the way you ought to calibrate with water to determine exactly how much area one gallon covers. Hand gun or boom sprayer?

Its a boom sprayer. I am not too big on doing it but it has to get done. I was thinking one concentrated bottle which covers 400sq m to do one acre. I don't want to over do it.

Try Google--just type "convert 400 sq meters to acres" .

I got .098. According to my calculations, You are 9 bottles short.

Is a Hectare 100 meters by 100 meters?

Americans do not understand the metric system. You really need to know how much water you are applying per acre. Better yet gallons per 1000 sqft. Depends on pressure, and speed. And nozzle type, number of nozzles.
