Who uses a sun shield on their Z?

Today I noticed a guy pulling a Scag on a trailer. It had a sun shield, but really looked like a roof, and I was wondering if you others were using something similar. I don't, but I do tan really good, so no fair skin on me to protect. Just a hat for my shade!

Wouldn't that totally get in the way when going under low-lying branches and other obstacles? I just can't the the great benifit of having one. Plus I think they look stupid....just my .02 cents.
