Im sure there has been worse, but I found this while browsing about the internet.

How could you even think of taking a picture of that and posting it for the world to see?

although I think their focus was the rock water fountain, it is pretty bad...

Definetly the fountain was the focus, but they did all the work, so that would look pretty bad for them.

Looks like Bermuda sod, freshly laid. Its not all that bad, I am sure it will look great once watered for a few weeks and fertilized.

There isn't a thing at all I like about that photo. Cold, cold, COLD!

Quickcuts,

You don't think the way they laid the sod around the edging is horrible? There is one section where the sod is laying on top of the edging. Always run a strip to follow the curve then cut in with that. That way there is a nice crisp edge that follows the contour of the bed.

Kinda looks like he picked up every rock on a parking lot meant to keep people from drivin' in the grass, and stacked them on top of a holey garden hose!;) ;)

I swear it looked better when I was there in person.....Just kidding. Even if I did do that, I dont think I would own up to it:hammerhead:

Not to mention the waterfall looks incredibly BAD...

the retaining wall is nice in the background.
the rock edging sucks.
the waterfall is hideous.
the waterfall pump is substantially undersized.
the lawn is a pretty brownish green.

i would be pretty embarrassed if this was mine.

Yep I'd say so the whole job looks like crap! The fountain looks worse than the sod!

I did a job about a month ago that the sod was about that bad.
It came from supposedly one of the premier sod growers that specializes in "Golf course quaility sod"

I had ordered extra sod for someone else and It took 17 pallets too lay 6000 sq/ft.

The sod farm will not even acknowledge me.
I have pictures as well.

Do you think the Company that did this is a member of Lawnsite. If so they need some serious help. I don't like pyling on but I would feel bad charging someone for that type of work. I wondered how much did they charge the customer. It makes all of us look bad!

They are local here in Phoenix, just heard thier name and checked them out. Question is, why would you post that on your own website, trying to sell to someone?

The exposed spot lights on each side are a nice touch. I expect the prisoners will be back in the morning to make little rocks out of the big ones.
