I don't know much about trees.
From what I've gathered and read(been reading up on this stuff), you can't just dig a hole and throw it in the ground. There's quite a bit more to it than that if you want the tree to live and grow healthy.
Do you have a nursery or tree farm nearby? You could at least find out what they'd charge you, and give you some tips on planting it.
Just be careful. You don't want to have to buy the tree twice if it dies due to improper planting.

Call someone who knows how to do it. Sub it out to them and add 15% to the price for you. If its $200 for them to do it then you charge her $230 and you just made $30 for making a phone call.

That's a Leyland cypress. It will run you about $45 for a 6 ft. at a wholesaler. I charge 2.5x the cost of tree to purchase and install. Hope this helps.

My standard charge for tree placement is 20% over my cost plus $65.00 per hour for excavation plus all necessary soil amendments.
Where I live rock is a huge problem and to excavate a proper hole a minimum of 2.5X the size of the root ball may take up to four hours.

Leyland Cypress or Thuja Plicata.
