We have a couple of trimmers that are running for about 30 minutes straight and them shutting off. They will not restart for about 45 minutes after that. Any ideas?

It isn't a positive identification of a bad coil but measure the resistance when it is cold and compare to reading when it won't run. I have found that the two I had was practically open when hot and won't start. Shop says that is a bad way but......I don't have any other tools except volt meter.
