this weed someone said it was called "DRAGON WEED" , i googled it and found nothing. anyway it grows in the mulched beds at one of our jobs and i used round up or prosecute on it and nothing seems to kill this. you can pull it but it is made up of small pieces, like a chain, when you pull it is breaks off in 3/4" pieces and root is still in ground.
Any idea of name?
Thanks in advance as always...................

Kate's got to be right. I've never heard them called Dragon Weed, but I've heard Horsetail, Horsetail Fern, and Rat Tail Cane. Google Equisetum hyemale

that is it, now how do i get rid of it? i have used round up, but with no luck, you pull on it and it breaks easily and the regrows. i have it no where except in mulch bed on job that i mulched. It must of been in mulch.
