Where to find good help.

I live in Connecticut and need a worker to cut my lawns. I'm not sure where the best places to look are. I might run an ad in the local paper. Temp services forget it, no luck yet. I've given out my business cards and asked around yet amazingly no one wants work.
Any help? I really need to hire someone.

If you're offering peanuts you won't get many bites, and if you do the quality of the employee won't be good.
