First day with a new camera. This is really bad work and material.
I am curious dial connectors how fast these load. It has a feature for taking pics for email so I'm assuming they will be better.

I'll cut this one open to show its innards and take pics. No comments except to say they are pure junk.

Inside they have a clear plastic tube, much like medical tubing.

I've encountered them a handfull of times.

Maybe a Mac forum has some suggestions for free downloads of image editors. Something like Xtralean (http://xtralean.com/IWOverview.html) might be useful. Any aspirations towards producing webpages requires you to possess image-editing software.

And once again, Paint Shop Pro (not free) has a Mac version (PSP is kind of a plain-label version of Photoshop, with more functionality than you may ever need) - your first photo saved at PSP setting of 80 (less than one sixth of the original file size)

I'll second that notion. They kink and fail regularly. The inside diam. of the tubing is very narrow, less than funny pipe. Worst one I ever ran into was a long one embedded in concrete last year.

New homeowner wondered why one lawn sprinkler wasn't working. 2 hours later with my Bosch hammer, chisel and sledge I was able to tell him that some idiot ran an 18" cobra through his front steps. Fortunately I was able to approach it from underneath and the concrete under his tile was thick and didn't crack, but it meant digging a deep wide hole for access.

When I got to the PVC (where the edge of the lawn used to be) I ran it down and a few inches under the dirt and packed rubble to fill the void under the steps.

I'm ashamed to admit I used a few Cobras myself. Blue ones, gray ones.. can't remember which came first.

If Macs just work, then where is the image editor?

You missed my heavy sarcasm :)

The only macs at my work are locked up in our testing labs, for the occasional Safari related problem.

I hate them, but mostly I hate the commercials.

They are pretty common out here in the west, at least in a residential setting.

Now i make my own swing joints or buy them, depending if it's a repair or new install, but I would like to know why you call cobra crap crap?

Did It Load Faster Or NotNot faster. Image editing would slim them down. (See my Marlex thread for 3 photos sharpened in PSP and saved at a compression of 70)

Learning photo editing may have to be a winter time project. DW do me favor and don't do the pc rant everytime I bring a mac topic up. I'm sorry the commercials portray pc users as geeky, fat, bald guys. If your truck doesn't have a saw to cut pipe does that make it a lousy truck? The mac is an excellent computer, if it doesn't have or the user doesn't know what he has the computer isn't going to create it out of thin air. I'll use your rain-cad argument. It doesn't think for you it's just a tool.

Cut one open sometime. It is what looks like refridgerator tube in some bendy thing which supposedly keeps it from kinking which it still does. On top of that the 1/2" mt just spin on the tube.
