How many acres?

Hours wise, 170-200 bucks depending on your market.

I would be impressed if you got $120 for it.

$40/hour and no trimming isnt bad at all.

I have a lawn that takes 2 hours in the sping and 1 1/4 hours in the summer and I get more than $120. Glad I live in the north.

I wouldn't go any lower than $150. But $200 is a nicer number. Somewhere in that range

P.S. Don't call me a yankee, I'm a SOX fan.

I would charge at least $250, but may try for $300 depending on the customer.

Quite a bit of difference in the quotes you got wasn't there. From a low of $120.00 to as much as $250.00 - $300.00.

Getting down to brass tacks -- it depends on the area of the country what the market will bear.

Wait and see if you get some replies from LCO's near your location.

I'm guessing this is about a 4-5 acre lawn? I would charge between $240 and $300 per visit, with no trimming that is.

In Martin, Tn you would get around $100 dollars. It would not matter if you were solo on a large mowing company that would be max for no trimming here. I'm solo now, but I would for the largest and most exclusive company here and saw all of the pricing.

this yard is 8 acres, not 3-4. did I say I was mowing for 3 hours straight on a super z? I can mow 3 acres of flat land in 1 hour.

I live in Southeast Missouri and should be in the same general demographic as far as pricing goes. We are just a stone throw away from Tenn. For our area $150 is a good fair price.

Pardon my ignorance, but isn't the trimming, while the most labor intensive (WORK) part of the operation, by far the lowest cost? I guess what I'm trying to say is why would anyone charge less for 3 hours of just mowing (3 hours on your Z), rather than 2 hours mowing, one hour trimming (which costs far less), which seems to be the way most responses to this thread are thinking?

Dude..... 2 words (Energy spent) when setting my cutting prices triming is a HUGE factor.

$135 is what I'd like to get. Actually I'd like a whole lot more but that is about what I'd get here.

Here where Im at I would be charging no less than $1 per min per man on the property no matter whether they are mowing or trimming. I have too much invested to go for any less

I mow Tuesday to Friday. (Monday and Saturday are other jobs) Very tight schedule. $100.00 per hour minimum. Depending on the route, (and God willing, meaning no break downs) we easily do that with 3 guys, 2 Walkers and good luck. Am always leery of taking on big mowing jobs. Most folks are looking for the best price, and at $250-300 will definitely shop around. Took care of condos for years, and got tired of the cut throat pricing, property managers. etc... Good luck
