No idea I ran the irrigation department and had different pricing. All I know is they charged for weekly service and were able to skip every other week during the winter months. I also know they would cut back on hours for the crew if they could. While the customer may be paying for 20 man hours a service they may only be giving them 15-18 hours when possible.

i would think that people would be more forth coming when it comes to pricing and the fair going rate in an area. it would be to everyones benefit for prices to be in the same range on the high side if anything, but definatly not to low. and that is what im trying to avoid. please all those in the orlando area if you can provide actual numbers ex. 40/per cut average yard mow, edge, line trim, blow or 50/man hr ect, ect

I start at 120.00 mo/ 42 visits

That's exactly what I charge for my basic pkg. under 1/4 acre. It goes up from there (rapidly :) )

For your Blow and Go guys, I've seen it as low as 60/a month year round. A lot of 90/month rates. Still no one can do even a decent job for less than 110/monthly. Bigger residentials go from 145/mo to 165/mo a full service. Way to many know nothing lowballers out there. Problem is, without anything else for the potential customer to compare you to others, it comes down to price.

Yeah you Orlando guys and the Palm Beach guys give 42 cuts a year for those rates. I'm still stuck on the person who's started this thread. How can you ask that question your going into business but you dont know what our market will bare. It's not about what they are charging its about your level of service and what you want to make.

Try to get $120 a lawn here and you will get about 0 after spending $10k on advertising, you gotta remember these lots are about 1/8th of an acre and the lawn is probably just about 2k sqaure feet.... some say they wont drop there gate for less then $35, wont happen here unless you target bigger homes.

If I charged $35 per lawn = 40 cuts per day crew of 2 = $1400 a day, id be rich

$80 per month averages $24 a cut x 40 cuts per day = $960 a day, probably still more then the guys who drop there gates for $35 or more, I care about my net after the day not how much I drop my gate for

So many homes next to each other I can spend all day in 1 neighboorhood
