I'm there too. Can we get an admin type to add a poll to the thread?

For those who don't know, lawnsite used to have a chatroom.

That would be kinda uncomfortable on my set up.

The old chat room (trench for us sprinkler folk) was open to everybody on
the whole site? Or, each group had their own? I'd be up for that in that I feel
I know my peers pretty well....but the whole thing, at once?? Bye bye.

A chat room would be too difficult to moderate and control, if you think they are going to give us an environment like that to speak in...you are going to be very disappointed. Not going to happen and I'd bet $$ on that.

Yeah, since the mods are silent on this one, I'd agree.

DLCS is correct. We used to have a chat room. Some things were different back then. Eric ELM was around, and he was in that chat room a lot. Things were pretty nice. Then eventually it stopped being used for the most part, and it was taken out.

Sounds like a good time to revive it or at least have a months trail. :usflag:

Don't know if I'd give up my child porn site over it. Just kidding folks! I'm not really into chat rooms -- seen several over the years. After a short time, they start to annoy me, and posters get out of control with stuff that is irrelevant. I think this site is fine the way it is (the BEST). My two cents.

If somebody is interesting in an online chat setup, here is an easy way to get one started:

As situations permit, I listen to this one during the work season:

Unfortunately, I usually only gets bits and pieces as I am driving from property to property.

But, now that Saturday mornings are not scheduled, I am able to participate in the online chat.

There is a huge archive of old programs that can be drawn up for listening. Some of the information is relevant to the green industry. One very good one of last summer was devoted to contracts.

The host has his own web site with much very good information for the entrepreneur:
