Wide Area Mower

I am looking at a John Deere 1600 wide area mower (used of course) and was wondering if anybody has been around one or is familiar with one, if so, how is the cut as compared with a ztr. Don't want to get a (need to look at this brand over that brand) thread started as I have a reason for the John Deere. Any info good or bad would be appreciated. I do know how much they cost new so I know about the "if I have enough work for it to be worth buying" comments. Thanks

i run the 1445's and love them...great on hills and muddy or soft areas---the 1600's i have no direct use of them but i have spoke to some that have and say they are great......they have repoted to get about a 100 acres a day out off one in good conditions and all other things being ideal....
