I feel for you guys. We went through droughts the last 2 years. This year it is just the opposite. I have had to skip lawns because of standing water. I can't remember the last time I mowed a dry lawn. Since May 1st we have had around 23 days with rain according to the weather guys. Wish we could send some your way.

Central Alabama here----a week ago I was down to one lawn out of 20 and the only reason I was mowing that one---was because it's irrigated---imagine 4 acres irrigated---I've passed on 15 yards this month so far---just not nothing there to cut!! NOTHING!!!!

We're getting some rain now----but not what we need

Lawns burned up----looks as brown as a paper bag!!!!

This week was the first time all year that we didnt skip any lawns. Finally has started to rain some. It doesnt really matter though because everyone pays monthly and its the same weather we skip or not.

I raised the mower deck up to 4".
It helped somewhat over the past 2 weeks, but if we have no more rain than last nights 1/8 inch ,
we'll be going fishing.

My wife skipped a bunch this week. She has been waiting for some dry weather to get a break. Things have been way too busy since spring. Gives us a chance to catch up on some gravel lot spraying and machine maintenance. I think she has time for some house cleaning now too.

all mine here are in southern oregon are irrigated, i feel for you guys depending on rain, hope everything works out ok for you. and i do realize some of you do have irrigated lawns but there are probably water usage restrictions.
