Looks good. I'll have my new body gmc soon too. You should have ordered the 1 step up from the work truck so you get the chrome bumper and grill plus a fiew other things.

For a work truck it looks good. Chrome wont get you home. It will get you *nevermind*

Doesn't GM offer a modular system for toolboxes etc? Something like that might be a good idea.

I really don't care to add too many things to my vehicles.

Nice truck. The new 07 trucks do drive really nice. I've driven a couple since they first came out and thought about getting one a little over a month ago. I was looking at a couple of W/T 4x4's with the LS package. One had a 4.8 like my 04 and the other had a 5.3 I owe around 9 grand on my 04 and just hated to start over from scratch again, so I think will just keep what I've got. Keep us posted on it's performance. BTW, if you can swing it go for a spray in liner vs. a drop in. Best of luck.

Don't forget if you are a "legit" business and have a EIN number, you can get up to $500 in free accessories from GM or a $500 gift card from lowes. I chose a Adrien steel aluminum tool box for my 2007 2500HD. If the accessories is more than $500 you just pay the difference. My toolbox cost $500 so i paid $0.00. Just talk to your dealer, they have the info.

I got a 2008 Silverado HD 2 weeks ago. I thought I was eligible for the $500 GM Business rebate also. My dealer said I was eligible for $900. I got the bedliner, molded mud flaps, step bars and bed rail caps under this plan. This is the best quality built truck I've ever owned. And I've owned quite a few.

Not to be an a-hole but how can you tell what the quality is after two weeks? I have seen some vehicles that looked and felt and drove spectacular when new, but after two years are falling to pieces. Let's give it a year or two of regular use...

Let me be more specific. I'm talking fit and finish. Body panels fitting correctly. Paint that looks perfect. I buy a new truck evey 3 years, so they are not around for the long haul.
