23 horse kohler valve adustment

does anyone know what the valve clearences are supposed to be on a 23 horse kohler command engine. and it they are supposed to be adjusted when hot or cold???

Best answer I can give is do what I did, go to kohler.com and download your engine's repair manual in pdf format.

Kohler Command engines have hydraulic lifters, They require and have no adjustment.

Rob is right, but some singles with recoil have an adjustable valvetrain.
