I have a Bunton 36 inch walk behind that is ten years old. It has not been used much. However, this morning it will not go into reverse nor fifth gear.

I want to open the transmission case and see what parts it needs to be repaired. What lubricant is used in the transmission case and how much lubricant does it contain?

Thank you!

Randy

Randy, This Trans. takes Bentonite grease.

You can purchase below with any other parts needed or from any Tecumseh dealer. I don't believe putting the full 32oz. in would hurt if all old grease is removed.

Thank you for the above information. I shall order some tomorrow. Expensive stuff!
