New Deck Belt Adjustment

I just replaced the deck belt and rear plastic guide pully on my 36/16 MFT. I do not know what caused the original to malfunction with 25 hrs on the machine. Can you tell me how long I should wait to check belt tension on the new belt for stretch. Thank you for your assistance

I would check it after a couple hours of mowing.
Make sure your belt is not rubbing anywhere in your range of cutting height.
