View Full Version : Who has used a Rain sensor on your controll box??

Has anyone used a rain sensor??? Our controll box is a Rainbird EXP-LX 16. I thought it might be eiser to I dident have to turn it off every time it rained ( im not aways home when its raning).

I use a rain sensor on every irrigation system that I install. Most controllers have terminals for them and if they do not you just install the sensor in series in the common wire.

Look at sensors like the Hunter Mini-Clik that dry on their own and turn the system back on. The old dump the tray sensors I do not like.

Use Hunter Mini-clik. Reliable and easy. I never install a job without one.

We use the hunter mini-clicks on our systems. Works good. You can also adjust how fast they dry out and reset themselves.
