I haven't had any luck with the rebuild yet. I am checking with my simplicity dealer to see if the wheel motors are the same. I heard that they sell a rebuild kit for them. have you had any interest in parting yours out? I am thinking about selling my hydro unit and engine.

My dealer has two pump/hydro/wheel motors for 675 each thats 225 off no $ TOhave it done . would sell the whole thing for 600 new tires rebuilt engine new clutch

KJ, The wheel motor form a simplicity zt 14-16hp is the same as the JD unit. Either side will work on your unit. If you can find another right or left wheel motor htey are interchangable. You may have to move two levers to make it work. I took two right side pumps and made one a left to get me going until I find a rebuild kit. My local simplicity dealer is checking on the rebuild kit if he has no luck, I am going straight to eaton.

How much do they cost from simpicity? My dealer quoted 550 each from eaton. John deere 675 but they have 2 yr warranty. If for some reason they dont work from eaton Im told they can not be returned dont know just what dealer told me.

After reading all your conversations about the HD 75 pumps I got on Jack's Small Engine's web site and found the pump under Simplicity zero turn riders - zt series, found the hydro page, and ordered a seal kit for it. Part #1719442 - $37.15 each. I ordered 2 of them for my HD 75 and hope it works. Earlier today I contacted a hydro shop that is very knowledgeable and he checked and came back that the pumps were obsolete and the manufacturer didn't support this product any longer. I hope to prove him wrong. Jack's usually takes a while to get me parts but I'll let you guys know what happens when they get here.
