who does the white stuff?

i was just wondering who does snow removal for their customers. we have never done any ourselves, and we are considering investing in a snow blower or two if its worth it. how much can u get for say an average walkway, and driveway? do u use salt also? thanks ....btw, sorry for posting here but didnt think id get any replies this time of year in the snow section.
