Here's my choice...1500 series Ferris 25/52...$7200...or..Mini Z 19/52..$6200 .. By the time I add flex forks and seat it's almost a push,,the only major difference then is 6 hp more -vs- better warranty. I'm looking for logical pro's & cons, not personal preferences :usflag:

Flex Forks and a suspension seat will get you at about the same price as you mentioned.
Compare how they drive and feel especially the drive, you wont find a smoother drive system out there (with integrated parking brake also!) and try them on a slope, you will see why everyone talks about our mowers so much, nothing feels better than a Hustler.
What engine is on the Ferris?

25 hp Kawi .. thats just it .. the 19 hp on the mini Z is too small (IMO) for the slopes of StAugustine I have

You can step up to the 25/52 Super Mini Z also.

Talk to people that have the ferris and the hustler. Ask the owners about out of pocket expenses to keep the mowers in working orderafter 2 years. The ferris rides nice, but look at all those moving parts, lots of bolts and bushings. Too much crap to trip over when trying to get on and off it.

K.I.S.S (Keep it simple stupid)

Drive them both--compare price, warranty, dealer, serviceability, features, and Hustler will win you over.
