I am looking for a rebuild kit for a 14 hp FC420V. Where could I find one?

Do you mean like a shortblock? Kawasaki does not supply shortblocks.

I know of no kits, Gasket set and the rest separately is all I've seen. Kawi doesn't even offer short-block engines.

I couldn't find the part number on the gasket set for your engine (never looked one up). But the place below has quite a few listed, You could contact them with your model and spec. numbers and purchase at the same time.

Do they even offer gasket sets? I have never really looked too closely since the farthest we get into them is a valve job. But I know for that I end up ordering each gasket I want individually.

They must do, The link I posted above has them listed by OEM Kawasaki part numbers with nothing in the aftermarket column.
