bogged down once. didnt bog down when we sucked up a newspaper with the collection system on, there was maybe a dozen small pieces of paper that flew out. the part with the well, we went over 4 times w/o the bagger. The front 2 times w/o the bagger on, then 1 with it on. Its a Lazer Z, 28 Kawi, 60" Triton. and the striping kit was on when we did the lawn.

What amazes me is how green it is just after being cut that short. This is figuring that there was not a whole lot of sunlight reaching down to the finish height. It looks great.

Yep, I cut one a few weeks ago, TALL TALL TALL, probably 8 inches in height, and the result was yellow grass:)

That looks good though, looks like the Triton isn't doing too bad a job.

I think i ended up getting med. lifts from the dealer. i took a look at the invoice and thats what was on there. The only thing i dont like about it is that the ultravac, clogs very easily with tall grass. i did another one not as tall but tall enough. they had a vinyl fence so i tried bagging the first pass and the U/V just clogged up over and over again. The Triton is doing great so far, theres never anything stuck on the underside of the deck. Im going to get some high lift blades this week. hopefully that will make a difference with the striping too.

That stinks your Ultra vac keeps clogging. I have been thinking on giving the triton a demo this coming spring but i run ultra vacs now on a ultra cut and trivantage decks and that is what I get cutting tall or wet grass. Clogging. My Deere ZTR with there new vac system has only clogged once since I have had it. I mowed last month a 3 week overgrown lawn that was 10 inches high with the Deere. Never clogged once. I love the exmark brand and the quality of mower they put out. Wish they had a fix for this problem.

I recommend scraping them out with a large screw driver just like you would on your underside of the deck.

Up here in the northeast in the spring , the grass is real thick and wet, and i don't hear many complaints at all.

Keep an eye on the belt too. Very easy to swap and inexpensive. Might even be worth swapping a couple times a year.

no... I wish it was, It was just another LCO in the neighborhood. I still have the Chevy, unfortunetley. Ive been looking at Fords though, the 6.0 just sucks too much gas... and i just really want a diesel! Does anyone know where to get blades for the Triton? I know they have a recess and cannot find anyone but the dealer who sells them. or can you use the blades without the recess?
