Hi
What started out as a Joke has actually worked pretty good. During 1st 80 hours or so the discharge chute on my 2006 42" had taken such a beating I removed it before it broke the mount holes on the deck that its attached.
But after a few beers and not wanting to stick chute back in vise and ya ya ya again I just used a empty 2 1/2 gallon jug of hydraulic fluid and the 2nd best 'rigger' tool ever invented to man(bailing Wire:) , #1 is duct tape..) and Presto!! a Rugged discharge chute.
You can laugh and Bash me but I've put 15 hrs on this 'as is' and even though it looks like crap its very functional, shows no signs of deterioration yet...so I plan to keep doing this until Hustler comes out with a rubber replacement.
Later..
Take Care
