haha..
This guy has been in the trades a long time...He has been slipping in the field due to personal problems involving to many otter pops and gennie bucks.
regardless he claims it gave 12 gpm on the flow gage.Four days later a poor 5 GPM from the town water was recorded...
He zoned all heads/valves for 11 or so Gpm....
1. I haven't gotten paid..
2.He is installing a booster pump.
3.I haven't gotten paid...
4.He is blaming the town....The town could care less.
lol....Goes to show you even the TOP DOGS make mistakes...
We all eat crow in the trade.....How much and for how long depends on the person.

This is why you use PGPs, and re-nozzle with #3 and #2 and #1 nozzles. :p

Put that pump on there and suck the water from the town.

(let the boss install the booster pump first, then let him discover that a valve is partially closed)

Eddie... proof positive that although irrigation is not rocket science... it DOES have some science involved. Sounds like your boss failed this course on this system by not verifying POC GPM/PSI, etc. and then installing too much off of too little. :)

"Yes, I see" said the blind man, "it all comes back to me" as he wizzes into the wind.

My thoughts as well Haze.....The Hoss def dropped the ball. The worst part is it should of been hydro-seeded 4 days ago...haha....I myself went out and bought a flow test by toro for my side accounts..only 50 bucks @ home depot..I almost want to bet that he didn't take a flow and got lazy.....Next week he will be checking himself into "VACATION"... Hopefully he comes out a little smarter and more productive. Cause he is blaming me for every problem I am hearing...
A guy I used to work with told me once,
"Don't ever make fun of the guy who made the last serious mistake"
why?
"If you criticize someone all the time, its going to be you who cuts, flips, floods ect."

Very true... if they're isolated errors. We all make mistakes and the bigger man, instead of criticizing says, "Let me help you fix the mistake... because I may need your help on my next mistake." :)

LOL... Maybe his boss goes out to various parts of the area and takes PSI/GPM readings during the fall/winter intending to use them when needed during the spring/summer months and forgets about the added demand during the summer tourist season?
