Its wheat harvest time and that means time to get straw for the year. Here is a small load of 220 bale , we usually haul 300 bales but this load will fill the barn for now.

I remember those days. Where I grew up the small square bales for good for the horse people. Are the 60 LB or 80 LB?

damn, how long is that trailer?

at this point they feel like they weigh 150 pounds in this heat. The trailer is 30 foot long, I use it to haul the tractor and batwing.

That would make a great parade float! The hay around here is being harvested also.

A few months ago? I was driving up this nasty hill of a road when I came upon an F350 dually stopped in the road. The driver had been hauling a full load of hay bales on a bumper pulled equipment trailer. What I'm guessing is that while going up the hill either something went on the truck, or he just didn't have enough traction on the tires, and the truck started to get dragged down the hill backwards. There were black skid marks going down the hill a good 20' where the driver must have been trying to stop with the brakes while being dragged backwards.
