I've owned and used about every brand out there and I'm pondering wich ZTR has given me the least headaches. Not the best cut or fastest groundspeed; but the one that my guys don't have to call me to come pickup, repair, push on the Trailer etc.

ExMark. That's why I have 3. Very few headaches and they ride like a top, day in and day out.

After 5 years of scags, 6 of them, 13 years of Dixie's, over 20 of them,
I have switched to Exmark. That is for my 60" mowers. As far as the Walkers
we will see if the navigator stands up to the challenge. My guys loved the Exmark. I was impressed with the dealer and the Company rep. I would have liked to see Hustler just don't have a dealer close enough.
What part of Nj are you?

Although My dixie has not been my favorite ZTR I have owed I do think it has been the most dependable because of its simplicity. Love the toro z's and exmark lazers I have had because of their cut quality, stability on hill and ride quality. The DC hasnt always had the best quality of cut, its horrible on hills but after racking up over 1200 hours on my 60" DC it has never needed one repair yet exept for basic wear items. Great mower for wide open flat properties. For my smaller residential properties I prefer my toro's.

For me its Scag all the way. Used Deere,Exmark, and were good mowers but Scag is where its at.

It is painted yellow and is a Hustler.

Hands down bulletproof.

The Exmark I own is not [repeat] is not as heavily built. I find myself having to baby the Exmark, while the Hustler just goes. Mowing commercial properties, getting over [curbs] are harder on the Exmark than on the Hustler, the Exmark's castors, tires/wheels and frame are wimpy when compared side by side to the Hustler.

The Hustler is my favorite of the two, after 3000 something hours. The Hustler is better when the going gets rough.

IT IS THE SERVICE STUPID.

All mowers are pretty close in quality (at least the big seven or eight most popular) We have tried many makes and models and what is most important is the service. Find a dealer that will fix your mower while you wait, over night, or give you a loaner while it is fixed and that is the mower that you want to buy. IT IS THE BEST INSURANCE POLICY IN THE BUSINESS.

There's no such thing my friend, as much as we would like to think it is. When you think about it, its realy a disgrace. I cant recommend a whole lot of Ztr's but I would recommend Scagg for us they have been very dependable for the most part.
