Anyone had trouble with their safety switches not operating properly? Today I went to mow and could not take the parking brake off without killing the engine. Flipped the seat, put ohm/voltmeter on the seat switch, seems to be working fine. I can start the mower and it runs normally, but the switches on the control handles will kill it, and so will engaging the blades in addition to the parking brake switch. All this would seem to indicate the seat switch is bad, but....

had so many problems with my z-force I sold it. the last problem I had was the one you mentioned. i found a plug that i thought was the wiring for the saftey switch the hydraulics. I was going to unplug it thinking that it would disable the kill switch all together. however, it disabled the hydraulics altogether. but, when i plugged it back in, everything started working properly again. go figure.
