Repowering a Gravely 250z question

My mower has a 20hp Briggs & Stratton Vanguard vertical shaft and I'm at the point where I'd like to replace it. I found a replacement engine on Ebay. My other engine is a 2000 model and the new one looks a lot different. The specs for the new one says it has a 1" x 3 5/32" output shaft. How can I make sure it's the same as my current motor. I'd check but the mower is 20miles away and The auction ends tomorrow morning. I've checked my owners manual and the Gravely parts radar and can't find anything. I do plan on calling the seller tomorrow morning if I can't find out anything by then.

First you need to post the model, code and type on your existing engine. Or you can remove the clutch and measure your crank.

I measured the shaft and got 1 1/8" diameter x 3 3/8" length

Any ideas on a cost effective replacement motor?

According to the Briggs IPL, types 1134 & 1137 are the only 2 that are different from ALL the other 20 HP Vanguards! (crankshaft wise)
Sometimes it's a pain to be "special":)
