aerating job

Hi again,
This time I am looking to see if I bid fairly close to what I should have for this job.
I inspected her lawn, measured it, 32,000sqft.
Priced job to core aerate lawn and fert. $280.00.
Sound high or low or justttt right?

Roughly 3/4 acre.
Fert. @ $20 your cost
Remaining $260 for aerating.

Personally I would say high. That is about the same size of my property. I would not bid that high for this size. I would probably bid about $190. That is based off my property. Mine is very flat with not many obsticles. I can't see what your property looks like, so my numbers may differ.

I think you bid okay. 65hoss did not take into account labor for fert. application.

$80-90 Fert. app.

$190-200 Aerate = $5.95-6.25 per 1000 sq. ft.

Thanx everyone, I thought I was kinda middle to low.
Cust told me I was outrageous and will do it themselves. You know, I hope she does it. She is selling her house and wanted to make the lawn look good quick. I was going to put iron instead of nitr. for quick greenup. But she is appli nitro herself hope she doesnt burn it up.

That's a funny thing. One customer says a price is way to high and the next door neiborgh thinks it's just right. It's all on how the spend and make their money.

Personaly I think the aeration price should be $128 for single pass and fert price $65 for fert. and you still made $150 in 30-45 min.

Must be that area - market thing again....TSG... 5.95 to 6.25 to per. k for aeration,now that seems low! I was thinking 256.00 for aeration @ 8.00 per k............and 83.00 for 32-5-7 fert. for a total of 339.00.{using a walk behind arator}
