I was wondering what type truck i should get.
I want to be able to pull a trailer and also plow.

This question is way to open ended. You need to narrow it down to some preferances and requirements.
How large of a trailer? How much plowing? how large of an engine? what size cab? What size bed? 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton? ... the list goes on...

For plowing, you want a 3/4 or 1-ton 4x4 with a solid front axle.

I would go with a f 250 or 350

Anything 3/4 ton or up should be good. For heavy trailering get a diesel as you'll be putting less strain on the engine and getting better fuel economy. For plowing, I've heard that the older chevys/gmcs have problems as the plow blocks the narrow grille and they get hot. But save yourself the hassle and get at least a 250/2500, much better ride, payload, and trailering and hauling capacity.
