Seller doesn't have great feed back score. I would go and inspect if intrested. Depends on your use, not a big machine.

I'm not too much of a fan of Kubota's backhoes.

Primarily because their outrigs (stabilizers) do not lift the machine high enough to allow for various ground elevations / terrain.

Do you have a machine now? I feel this machine is too small for a landscaper. It is a nice machine for someone who owns a couple of acres or likes to do yard work but beyond that I would pass on it.

I have a Kubota L3130 and at times it feels like the right sized machine, but because the hydraulics are not that powerful it doesn't lift enough when it comes to hardscaping. If you want to do alot of softscapes it can work out for you but that is all it is good for.

You can try to use it but it will take you much longer to complete the same tasks as a larger machine.

Let us know what kind of work you do also and maybe we can help you out a little better. If you have a budget that info helps too, it is easy to say get this when it cost $50,000.00 and you have a budget of $20,000.00. I just got a good deal on a new backhoe/loader and I am really happy with it because I am a small outfit and can't justify the purchase of a skid and a mini at this time. It does have all the power that I need when it comes to hardscaping, and it has alot of good features that make it a good choice for me.

Good Luck

mini x, but i also have 2 bobcat loaders. Tractor or even reg. small backhoe are slow and bulky for landscaing i think. Pita to backfill a wall with front bucket. It took me a long time to go with mini now i have a 331 and wonderd how i did with out.

Always choose the Mini Ex and you won't be sorry. Those little Kubota's suck and can't move hardly any dirt.

What hours does it have? 3000.9? 2000.9?

What are your plans for the machine.......if you just need a mini, get a mini. If it is better to have a setup like this certainly talk to Walter (Waltero)......he's got the setup you may be looking for with the balls behind it to get the job done.

You can find a bobcat used mini 331 for around 20k. I paid that for mine with 1700 hours has hyd. thumb , soft top, and new spare track. The guy i bought it from was a pita with maintance which was in my favor. He even would send oil sample away to be tested. I operated for years and even kept my hoe attm, but i found out there is nothing like a mini x and im not pushing bobcat either there are many good brands out there. We did 3 jobs this year that i think would of been impossible with out it.

I've ran about 4 brands of mini to mid size excavators, and I have fallen in love with Komatsu's little machines.

Last year we bought the L39 to use as a machine for a second hardscape crew.........DOH! It's a great machine for light digging, softscaping, and light material moving, but I regret not getting the mini. We will probably get one next year.

Yeah I'm sold on the Mini also. Next year I'm going to get one maybe on iron planet. I could have used one today digging block footers in this hard dry Carroll county clay !!
