john deere back pack blower

i'm looking at the jd bp65. Is $299 a good price? does anyone know who makes the jd blowers? i'm just wondering if this is a decent blower. if not, maybe i'd better stick with stihl or redmax. i would apreciate any comments.

I've got a BP60 and it is a great blower. Kawasaki engine, always starts on the first or second pull. I would definitely look at another John Deere if i was wanting another blower. $299 sounds pretty cheap too.

i thought deere handhelds aka anything but there mowers was made by another company?
