I have a super mini Z 54" with attached mulching kit. I notice that the clippings are buliding and leaving the yard less then manicured. I sharpen the blades about every 15 hours or as needed. The cut is ok, but not steller.

I was thinking about removing the mulching kit and install a power chute. I welcome your ideas. Looking for the best cut I can get. Oh, I tried the Hustler "Gator" blades, save your cash....

Try a set of Exmark's Notched high lift's ,switched over from the fusions and they leave a nicer finished cut. To me the stock Fusions are a medium lift blade.

You have a Super Mini 54? or a Super Z 54? we don't make a Super Mini in a 54" it is a 52".
I would run the wavy mulching blades or go the other route your talking about.
