Looking for the shaft housing for a Homelite ST-200 trimmer. UT# 20501 Serial # 010820296 The old part number was # A96205A I am sure the part number has been superceeded. I don't care if it's new or used. I would purchase the complete machine if i had too. I appreciate any help. Thanks!!!

Looks like the ST200 might date back a little too far for our records. Appears there were at least three revisions to the trimmer, but it's unknown whether or not the shaft housing was affected by the changes. I'm unable to find any information on the Homelite part A-96205-A. I know of an individual that specialized in older Homelite parts, I don't think he still does it, but I will keep an eye out for you and try to find you his contact information.

I have a couple old ST-200's that you can part out. I will sell both of them to you. When put away both engines ran fine. Seems to me maybe one of the flex shafts were rounded off on the ends. Lots of good parts. I can send picture of what I have. Let me know.

I would buy one of them, the part I am after is the shaft tube, but I would buy the whole thing if you like. Let me know the price and an address and I will send you payment. I sincerly appreciate your help. Thanks!!!

Are you looking for the curved aluminum tube that goes from the engine to the head that houses the flex shaft? Send me your address.

Blacktrain I was trying to reach the person who offered you the parts, "snapperfanredmaxman", did he ever get you the parts you needed?

I found an online parts manual, http://www.odref.com/homelite/string-trimmers/ut-20522-522a.PDF. It's really badly scanned, but the parts I am looking for are in the brushcutter kit. Looks like:
- SHAFT-pinion A-94468
- BLADE-SHAFT ASSEMBLY A-94431-1A (could be A-94451-1A)

Any idea where I can find these parts? If not the parts, then what about an entire new brushcutter kit, which is listed as A-94479-C (not sure about that second 9)?

Homelite says they donít have these anymore, and there are no modern substitute parts.
thanks

hi BC, looking at http://www.odref.com/homelite/string...20522-522a.PDF, I need
- SHAFT-pinion A-94468
- BLADE-SHAFT ASSEMBLY A-94431-1A (could be A-94451-1A)
But I would buy everything you have if you are getting rid of it and nobody else claims it all. you can email me off-group at zippelk@yahoo.com to work out the details.
thanks!
