currently looking at an 01 F350 7.3 Power Stroke itss a reg cab xlt w/ 66k on it.. there askin 18000 i currently have them down to 16k is this a good deal ?/

also anything to look out for with this perticular truck?

If its a regular cab, its a long bed. Ford doesn't make a regular cab short bed Super Duty.

If its a 2wd it would be a hard sell not many people want a 2wd. I imagine the truck belonged to a person that pulled a trailer or a old guy that wanted a P/U to pack a camper.

Nothing wrong with the 7.3 PSD I would get some service maintenance records on it to see what has been done.

Got any pictures ?

4x4 obviously a long bed not too many super dutys out there in a short bed reg cab cause id own a few lol......auto tranny of course ( i dont have time for all that shiftin... plow, cell, food/drink) lol

seems a little high on price for a regular cab. But nothin wrong with that truck!

As you know, that engine is preferred over the later 6.0.

My friend had three different Ford with the 7.3 ... he now has the 2006 F-250 with the 6.0 and loves it. He made his decision after driving mine and finding it much quicker. Neither of us has had any trouble with the 6.0 ... everybody has a different story ... that's mine.

Yup, mines been basically trouble free for 108k miles.
