I have a 2006 Exmark Commercial 21" self-propelled blade brake clutch push mower with about 50 hrs on it. It has a 6hp kawasaki engine, bagger (never used), side discharge (used once), and a mulch kit. It has the the Exmark tri-vantage deck. I really like the machine but I honestly use it for about 15 minutes a week. I just don't need all that money tied up in it and would like to invest that money into other things.I am asking $950 FIRM.Might trade on a 6.5x12 trailer with an end gate, or a 36" walk-behind.I am located in Southern Indiana.

Thanks...Jonathan

There may be some interest, and I understand you have to get what you feel it's worth, but you're asking price is too close to brand new unit. You know what happens when you drive off the lot after buying a vehicle. :(
Plus it is a push and not self propelled.

No....it is self-propelled and you are probably right about the price..what would be a better asking price?...thanks.

I don't want to insult you by throwing out a price I think it might sell for, it would probably be much lower than you'd hope to get.
Regardless of what it cost you in the first place, I can buy a new 26" for not much more than the price you mentioned.

It boils down to what value is the mower to you, and what you'd be willing to take for it, not how much you'd like to get for it, hope that makes sense. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

I might have an interest myself but we're physically too far apart to make it practical.
Maybe check with the local dealer for a price suggestion.
Best wishes to you in your efforts.

You would not insult me at all because I realize that people are only willing to pay a certain price so you can go ahead and throw it out there at me....I am not saying I will accept it but you will not offend me at all.As far as the Metro 26" goes...it is strange because if I remember right when I priced one in my area it was like $1400 so obviously it is cheaper in the south...lucky you...lol....but I paid I think about $1175 for mine I think.Thank you for the help.

the used commercial toro's that are nearly identical to the exmark's go for around 350-500 used on ebay. the new ones can be bought for around 950. just info, no darts.

Man...I must of paid way too much for mine brand new! But I started another thread on this Exmark with a price of $850 ..so is that sill too much do you think? and no I am not upset at your comment it is just more info that helps me out....Thank You

Just my opinion = yes I think that's still too much, maybe re-read the prior post from Gretzmier.
Either your area is really over priced or maybe you should be shopping at another dealer.
Possibly reconsider selling the mower and just keep it, from what you paid to what you might be able to get for it, you'd take quite a loss. OR Try selling it retail yourself, newspaper ad or such, then again your cost will increase, ads aren't cheap.

Well I thought that maybe he meant used from commercial guys that might put 200-300 hrs. on it..I mean mine is close to new and honestly I paid over 1150 for it..so I guess my area is high cuz that was the same price everywhere I looked which was about 4 or 5 dealers.

If I found a nearly new toro sp commercial 21" in my area with no shipping I might consider 500 or so. any commercial use at all lowers it from there. sorry, these things do last a long time, but check on ebay, I have seen them go for 350 and they look pretty good. once you go for 100 bucks for shipping, you really gotta have a need for one.
