New lawn aeration

On a hydro-seeded lawn that was done in july of 2001, how many months or years before it should be considered to be aerated? Thanks in advance

I cant see any reason why you cant aerate now! In the spring Installed a new lawn for a customer, a month later I double aerated and over seeded. This promotes alot of healthy root growth to the existing grass and have me a chance to fill in thin areas! Lawn came in beutifly!

Aerating can not harm a lawn. Go ahead. You could also throw some seed out and fert. to help it out.
