Rare opportunity to recover parts that were for a temporary battery operated system at one of our sites. Now that utilities relocating is almost finished it'll be very soon that the area goes under demolition for the actual start of the building phase. Usually we never get notified and we end up losing thousands of dollars worth of reusable parts that go under the wheel/blade/bucket/etc. of the heavy equipment. However, since I already knew that their main line spur had been abandoned when we had our 3" main line rerouted I took the opportunity to recover the parts. These are worth about $850 and I already have plans for most of them in the near future.

I know... but this is near the public sidewalk. Had I removed the boxes then I would of either needed to get dirt or plywood to cover the holes up as they would then become a safety hazard. We'll see what happens during demo.
