Anyone using the diesel with the 72" deck? It doesnt seem as if 25 hp is enough. Somebody might know the torque ratings of the diesel and say the big block Briggs engines.

from all ive seen on a diesel mower when they put a diesel on it they take away what makes a diesel A DIESEL. the big block briggs will have more torque for sure but if your gonna get an exmark dont get the triton get the ULTRACUT DECK.

Not so true.

The 22 and 25 hp 3 cyclinder Mitsubishi's on my 72" Toro Groundsmasters (3 of them) have way more torque than the 72" Ferris 3100 and 4000's with the B&S big blocks I have on them.

If the Kubota engine is the same on they put in the Diesel Toros...

It'll have plenty of powah for whatever you are cutting.

Except 1" steel rebar. That is all.
