This is not a "lawn" per se but a home ranch and pasture. It is being dominated by Cogon grass which is good eating for the animals (I think) but the grass tends to grow in thick patches that clog the tractor that mows and is definately spreading throughout the whole property. Is this grass bad for the animals, or a serious problem? I have seen info about it being a pest, but am not sure what needs to be done. i have noticed that the grass follows a pattern with patches of it scattered all around. Since they use a skid-steer for moving water trays and picking up debris my theory is that the grass gets picked up and deposited on the bare ground left behind where the skid steer turns. Anyone else deal with this grass?
