moths all over the lawn. when i fertilized they realy came out. lawn has a nice stand of grass ,brown in some areas ,i donotthink it the web worm making it brown but a lot of molths i mean a lot!!!!

These little white moths are the adult sod webworms. get down on your hands & knees and look for the typical damage. Don't bother looking for the worms, you probably will not find any. You could apply Dylox if you want to be safe.

not all moths are webworms.make sure you find the damaging source before you apply any corrective action.there is no need for applying pesticides to benificial insects.we are way to dependent on pesticides.do you have a license for pesticed

Ant, If I were you I would look up the turf land grant universty in your state.
