I have a Gravely WB w/15 HP Kawasaki, pull start. The PTO is Disengaging regularly. I checked to air gap and it registers OK. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Obviously check the connections.
Does it exhibit the problem under certain conditions, like when the engine is bogging badly, or at totally random times?

At the beginning of the season, it did it once every 10 hours or so at "normal" mowing conditions; now I cannot keep it engaged sitting still at any idle. This is a Gravely w/ Pro-Steer, as opposed to pistol grips. I did notice that both Yellow wires at the safety lever switches (the ones at the handle) are cut. Does anyone know if these should be? Or are they only used on electric start models? I am electronically challenged, so any advice for an amateur would be great. Thanks again

You might follow the other PTO thread. It might be a situation that fits both of you.
