I saw the first pictures and though OMG how horrible...but then the after pictures came. I'd love it if it was my house. You did wonders.

its kinda boring for my taste. everything seems to be the same and green. but if thats what the customer wants and is happy then so what!!

I hate red mulch with a passion (all personal preference), but the job itself looks good.

not a fan of red but does look better just looks like it need to be thicker, esp. in the last pic around the tree and near the edge, maybe just the pic.

House lookes 100% better in my opinion, the mulch does look to be a little low but like he said it could just be the pic, good job!

o man red mulch...bad. but looks alot better, and the plants bein in straight lines...and all green. wheres the color? otherwise looks 10 times better. I try and talk customers out of this stuff if thats what they want. if it doesnt work, o well...

Well ..good idea ...But ..

The ixoras will out grow the Trineetes which will cause a height difference for some time..I assume you are trying to accomplish a 3 teered look ? Also , the dwarf bird of paradise will take way too long to grow in that application , Next time look into the Heliconia in that application .They will grow faster and get about 3-4 feet . All and all not a bad idea ..Keep an eye on this landscape for growth patterns so you can learn from it for future jobs.

Good job ..Keep up the good work :)

Oh and 1 more thing ...Use more Trinettes to tighten up the look ..they are spaced apart too much ..1.5-2 FT MAX. on center for them ..That will give you an excellent look ..PLus the more plants ya use , the more $$$ ya make :)

Great improvement, but I think the mulch might be a little thin. Otherwise, great work!

08-30-2007, 04:10 PM
Ya its thin and the cust is have me fill it in just as I told here I would have to, that was 2 pallets worth and still didn't do the job, one part bad estimating 2 parts tight budget.
